Tamra Judge Encourages Fans to Support the American Cancer Society

Who could have imagined that Tamra Judge, the entrepreneur, professional fitness coach, and TV personality has been fighting skin cancer all this while! But the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum let the cat out from the bag in a recent exclusive interview with Us Weekly.

Her words “The masseuse told me, ‘Oh, you have this little tiny black dot,’” Judge explained. “And it was literally on my butt, like, the side of my butt. And she goes, ‘I think if I were you, I would get that checked out.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, OK.’ And I didn’t think anything of it.”  Typically, one may start to be inquisitive about the skin cancer called Melanoma.

As defined by skincancer.org, Melanoma is a serious form of skin cancer that begins in cells known as melanocytes. While it is less common than basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), melanoma is more dangerous because of its ability to spread to other organs more rapidly if it is not treated at an early stage.
But don't have a second thought about Tamra Judge's cancer case because she is always a winner.
Literally, she was lucky that her case was discovered early and the doctors gave the assurance that it was treatable. Though she became jittery at some point until another diagnosis confirmed that her melanoma was stage I which doesn't pose a serious threat.

However, if not for the diagnosis and early dictation, her condition would have been worse. She hinted in the interview "I probably would have never, ever even knew it was there because I am not turning around and looking back there,” she said. “It didn’t hurt. There was nothing, it wasn’t raised. There was no reason for me to think there was something wrong. … But it was just going through the process and then just thinking, ‘OK, my body is failing me. I actually have melanoma.'  Apart from the fact that she was strong and resilient, her loving husband, Eddie Judge was a pillar of support throughout the trying times.

“He’s always so positive,” she told the interviewer. “I’m always thinking the worst and he’s always thinking the best until the worst happens. He’s like, ‘Don’t worry about it. Just, you know, do what the doctor tells you to do when it’s a stage I.’ … It’s just scary. Nobody wants to hear those words ever.”

Good News!

Yes, her fans were elated when they got the hint that she was melanoma free. She shared the great news through her Instagram handle after another biopsy was done on the skin around her breasts in October 2018.

But one thing that gets everyone fascinated is her passion to help cancer patients get the care they deserve. She has been raising awareness about the programs and initiatives of the American Cancer Society even during the Covid-19 crisis.
Tamra Judge has also become a vocal advocate for the early discovery of skin cancer as she encourages her followers to donate, fundraise, or find a way to help those patients fighting the deadly disease. She is so enthusiastic that if she can be victorious, anyone can also achieve the same fit.
