The Coronavirus seemed like a joke at the beginning of 2020 but it crossed worrying milestones at an increasingly fast pace. 
With the rapid surge, there were restrictions on both indoor and public gatherings. Nonetheless, the transmission rates rose, the number of deaths increased and hospital capacity dwindled.
The pandemic ruined many 2020 wedding plans, however, some people, including celebrities walked down the aisle. In case you’re curious about those who featured in this year’s celebrity weddings, here is a list of TV stars, an athlete, and a comedian who got married in 2020.

Erica Lugo and Danny McGeady

Biggest Loser’s Erica Lugo wedded her partner, Danny McGeady, on December 12 in a 25-person ceremony. The pair got engaged in December 2019 and initially planned to tie the knot in April this year.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, however, the couple only had to say “I do” on April 4 in a zoom wedding without guests in their Ohio home backyard, and delay the larger ceremony until the end of the year.

Chari Hawkins & Charles O'Neal III

Hawkins, an American track and field athlete, met the love of her life, Charles O’Neal III, in 2010 while in a training group for the Utah State University track and field team. The couple got engaged in May 2017 and tie the knot on Sept. 27, 2020, at River Bottoms Ranch in Midway, Utah.
In an interview with People, Hawkins mentioned that both O'Neal III and herself were tested for coronavirus prior to and after the wedding ceremony, and they had to observe all other COVID-19 guidelines. This means the couple took a number of precautions amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Sarah Ramos and Matt Spicer

The Parenthood star, Sarah Ramos, and her fiancé, Matt Spicer, tied the knot in Las Vegas on October 25 at A Little White Wedding Chapel. Many may not be aware until she later announced the news on December 6 via an Instagram post. 

Morgan Stewart and Jordan McGraw

Morgan Stewart, Daily Pop host’s and a reality star, secretly married her musician fiancé, Jordan McGraw, on December 9. Morgan confirmed this by posting a photo from their wedding ceremony on Instagram. Their wedding came after four months after the TV personality announced that she and Jordan are having a baby girl.

Taissa Farmiga and Hadley Klein

On November 27, the American Horror Story vet, Taissa Farmiga revealed in an Instagram post that she and the Filmmaker Hadley Klein had got married on August 8, 2020. Though it might seem like the wedding was done secretly. However, upon a closer look, the duo’s updates on Instagram revealed that the wedding may actually not be a secret. For example, Klein uploaded an Instagram photo on Farmiga's 26th birthday and referred to Hadley as “my superhotbutalsocool wife.”

Nick Kroll and Lily Kwong

The Big Mouth Comedy co-creator/star, Nick Kroll, married Lily Kwong, a former model who turned architect, on November 19. The TV star posted an Instagram photo he captioned “So very thankful for @lily_kwong.” Besides, one month earlier, Lily Kwong announced that she is carrying their first’s child pregnancy.
